Principal Thermal-Mechanical Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan.

📋 Description

• Build, lead, and expand a high-performing team of thermal and thermo-mechanical engineers, establishing technical direction, mentoring team members, and driving execution.

• Collaborate with customer engineering teams during the evaluation phase by assisting in simulation setup, executing test cases, and interpreting results to showcase Vinci’s value.

• Partner with the sales team to provide product demonstrations, conduct proof-of-concept evaluations, and engage in comprehensive technical discussions with prospective clients.

• Aid in customer onboarding and deployments by offering technical guidance, training, and troubleshooting throughout the deployment and production phases.

• Identify customer pain points and workflow challenges, working alongside product and engineering teams to enhance product capabilities and improve overall customer experience.

• Conduct technical training sessions and workshops to empower customer teams in effectively adopting and scaling Vinci within their engineering workflows.

• Represent Vinci at industry conferences and semiconductor events by delivering live product demonstrations, managing booth activities, and engaging technically with prospective customers and partners.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of competitive technologies, industry trends, and market positioning to effectively convey Vinci’s differentiators.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field.

• Over 15 years of practical experience in thermal management, mechanical warpage, stress, and reliability using commercial software such as Flowthem, Cadence, Ansys, Abaqus, LS Dyna, etc.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or C++.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Previous managerial or leadership experience.

• Experience in customer-facing roles.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a knack for quickly learning new tools and workflows.

• Exceptional skill in clearly communicating complex results to a diverse audience (technical + business).
