This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Lead the integration and modernization of cross-functional data infrastructure programs across Rocket and its affiliated business platforms.
• Create and manage multi-quarter roadmaps that effectively balance platform modernization, operational maturity, security alignment, compliance readiness, cloud adoption, and business continuity.
• Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to evaluate current capabilities, identify improvement opportunities, and establish actionable execution plans.
• Foster alignment among teams regarding standards, priorities, dependencies, risks, milestones, ownership, and measurable outcomes.
• Support migration and modernization initiatives related to on-premise data infrastructure, AWS, Snowflake, and other enterprise data platforms.
• Assist in defining and implementing operational standards for incident management, change management, monitoring, alerting, backup and recovery, patching, documentation, access management, and service ownership.
• Collaborate with Security, Risk, Compliance, Enterprise Architecture, and Engineering teams to ensure data infrastructure platforms comply with enterprise standards.
• Develop metrics and reporting systems that demonstrate progress in technical execution, operational maturity, reliability, compliance readiness, and business value.
• Create executive-level reports that effectively communicate program status, risks, trade-offs, required decisions, and delivered outcomes.
• Establish robust operating cadences for roadmap reviews, dependency tracking, risk assessments, milestone reporting, and stakeholder communications.
• Over 10 years of experience in technical program management, infrastructure program leadership, data platform programs, cloud migration, or similar technical delivery roles.
• Proven experience in leading complex technical programs across various teams, functions, or business units.
• Strong grasp of data infrastructure concepts, including databases, data warehouses, data platforms, storage, compute, backup/recovery, operational support, and production reliability.
• Experience in supporting or leading programs for migrating from on-premise to cloud environments.
• Familiarity with AWS or comparable public cloud infrastructure platforms.
• Comprehensive understanding of enterprise security, compliance, operational controls, risk management, and infrastructure standards.
• Experience in defining roadmaps, success metrics, program health indicators, executive reporting, and measurable outcomes.
• Demonstrated capability to create structure in uncertain environments and drive execution through influence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical work into clear business outcomes.
