Principal Technical Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee the installation of technical systems, applications, or process designs for clients' purchased or outsourced technology and business process solutions.

• Assist clients with initial access, data mapping and transfer, process documentation, and user training or training coordination.

• Resolve complex client issues.

• Provide technical guidance and leadership to financial institutions and Implementation Service Consultants in integrating with the nCino/Force.com platform.

• Co-manage third-party integrations into the nCino platform utilizing suitable technical solutions.

• Document integration processes, procedures, and testing criteria.

• Deliver Salesforce solutions and integration development encompassing requirements, functional specifications, design, custom development, integration, testing, and deployment.

• Assess vendor API and interface specifications.

• Convert customer requirements into actionable implementation plans.

• Design Salesforce solutions that address customer needs.

• Monitor time and bill hours for customer projects.

• Support sales and sales engineering teams during technical prospect discussions.

• Utilize AI/ML for developing integration frameworks, solution design, system automation, and enhancing operational efficiency.

• Promote responsible AI usage in cloud solutions, DevOps, and Salesforce architecture.

• Identify potential opportunities for scalable and secure AI integration.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience/proficiency with a bachelor’s degree; or 6 years with a Master’s/Advanced degree; or equivalent work experience (if applicable).

• Capability to design, build, articulate, and defend architectural designs, especially around integrations, including basic UI components and designs.

• Proficiency in supporting a DevOps process and creating solutions with various software development practices.

• Ability to apply engineering principles to code, flow, and integration patterns using both on-platform and off-platform tools.

• Skill in documenting complex solutions and creating customer-facing documentation.

• Salesforce Dev401 certification is required.

• Strong research, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills.

• Advanced knowledge of data management, SQL, and RDBMS technologies.

• Experience with ETL/integration platforms.

• Background in Financial Services.

• Familiarity with Salesforce.com developer toolkit IDE, Migration Tool, and Web Services.

• Exposure to Salesforce.com configuration and custom development.

• Excellent grasp of object-oriented concepts and design patterns, along with prior experience working with object-oriented languages.
