
Principal Supply Chain Business Analyst – Aerospace/Defense

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Act as the primary functional and technical authority for supply chain business systems, ERP processes, reporting, and initiatives across the enterprise.
• Direct cross-functional projects that focus on ERP enhancements, automation, systems integration, process optimization, and digital transformation.
• Partner with leadership and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Evaluate software vendor application versions and patches.
• Recognize interdependencies among departments, divisions, systems, and processes.
• Examine complex datasets to discover trends, risks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Create and develop dashboards, KPIs, SQL queries, reports, and data visualizations.
• Convert business and mission requirements into specifications, system designs, workflows, and implementation strategies.
• Oversee user acceptance testing, implementation, training, change management, and post-implementation support.
• Create and deploy queries and reports for end users.
• Configure vendor applications, test and validate configurations, and implement changes to production environments.
• Generate test cases, scripts, documentation, functional requirements, process flows, and support procedures.
• Review and authorize application security requests for Procurement and Property functions.
• Supervise quality assurance, data integrity, unit, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Advanced knowledge in ERP systems, preferably PeopleSoft, including procurement, inventory management, MRP, manufacturing, and MES functionalities.
• High-level proficiency in SQL, data modeling, analytics, reporting architecture, and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, SQL Server, Oracle, and Excel.
• Capability to resolve highly complex business and technical challenges and create scalable solutions.
• Strong understanding of supply chain operations, financial analysis, strategic planning, and operational performance management.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications, workflows, and systems solutions.
• Experience in leading high-visibility, multidisciplinary projects with shifting priorities and cross-functional dependencies.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Capacity to work independently under consultative guidance, exercising significant judgment and initiative.
• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Proven leadership and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 8 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, preferably in government acquisition.
• Candidates selected must secure and maintain a government security clearance.
• Active Secret Clearance is preferred.
