This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Design, create, implement, and/or support moderately complex solutions based on Salesforce.
• Assist with project tasks.
• Code and conduct tests for programs.
• Develop system documentation, which includes structure charts, screen designs, data flow diagrams, file layouts, report layouts, and job run descriptions.
• Adhere to Information Systems standards.
• Analyze business challenges.
• Assess information systems and the interrelationships between their components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in test, development, or production environments.
• Compose procedures and technical documentation.
• Effectively manage multiple concurrent activities.
• Completion of college coursework in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• Experience in distributed and/or web-based system development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Apex, JavaScript, Java, or Python.
• Familiarity with database management systems like IMS DB, DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, or Access.
• Basic understanding of APIs, integrations, and REST/SOAP services.
• Knowledge of PC fundamentals and MS Office.
• Experience with the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Lightning components, and Salesforce configurations.
• Understanding of structured systems analysis, design, programming, and testing.
• Knowledge of Salesforce development concepts, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools.
• Awareness of software development principles, object-oriented programming concepts, and coding best practices.
• Capability to analyze business problems.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills.
• Effective communication abilities in a business environment.
• Capacity to evaluate information systems and comprehend interdependencies between components.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving issues in test, development, or production environments.
• Skill in writing procedures and technical materials.
• Capability to effectively manage concurrent activities.
• Preferred technology certification.
• Coursework in development methodologies and project lifecycle preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred.
• Ability to successfully pass required background and drug screening.
