This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to collect, record, validate, and prioritize business requirements.
• Convert business requirements into actionable work items, user stories, and enhancement requests for the development teams.
• Build and sustain subject matter expertise in designated applications, business processes, workflows, and supporting data structures.
• Act as a liaison among business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and development resources.
• Assist solution managers in prioritizing initiatives and addressing the needs of stakeholders and business objectives.
• Promote communication among stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership.
• Cultivate and maintain an understanding of USAP operational, demographic, coding, and revenue cycle data requirements.
• Detect communication gaps, manage issue escalations, and help resolve competing priorities and complex business challenges.
• Engage in change management and governance activities, including Change Control Board processes, committees, and approval workflows.
• Analyze, validate, document, and communicate application configuration changes, potential impacts, and implementation strategies.
• Support software implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
• Coordinate and assist with testing activities, which include test planning, defect management, user acceptance testing (UAT), and solution validation.
• Aid in application support, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to assess, implement, and enhance technology solutions.
• Create and maintain business process documentation, workflows, training materials, and knowledge articles.
• Monitor and verify data integrity across supported systems and reporting processes.
• Provide continuous support for application optimization and improvement initiatives.
• Help identify, track, and communicate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, management information systems (MIS), information technology, or a related field is required; equivalent education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• At least 3 years of experience as a business analyst within a healthcare setting.
• Preferred experience in supporting healthcare applications, revenue cycle processes, coding systems, demographic systems, or related operational platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio.
• Preferred experience with software implementations, system integrations, testing, and change management processes.
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia demographic, coding, and healthcare operational workflows is preferred.
• Revenue cycle management (RCM) experience is preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in gathering, documenting, analyzing, and translating business requirements into functional solutions.
• Ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and offer actionable recommendations.
• Preferred experience in reading, writing, and troubleshooting SQL queries.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational capabilities, and commitment to data accuracy.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Self-driven and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong time management, documentation, stakeholder management, and meeting facilitation skills.
• Ability to identify risks, resolve issues, and drive solutions through collaboration and influence.
