Principal Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Supervise the development of .NET components of the solution, from roadmap through requirements to operational implementation.

• Maintain a proactive approach, providing assistance as needed during each phase.

• Engage in troubleshooting throughout the development and operational processes.

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders at Unisys and clients to define the Product Roadmap.

• Ensure a balanced skill set in solution architecture that encompasses both development and operations.

• It is essential for the candidate to possess knowledge of security protocols.

• Develop high-quality written and visual design and architecture artifacts.

• Review design artifacts produced by other team members.

• Involve oneself in pre-sales activities, including solution development, estimation, and the creation of pre-sales response materials.

• Offer design and coding guidance to other team members as necessary.

• Take responsibility for issues and provide direction to clients and Unisys team members.

• Create prototypes for new solutions and components.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree along with typically 8+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• A Master’s degree is preferred.

• Strong comprehension of Security and Windows Infrastructure.

• Proficient use of diagramming tools such as Microsoft Visio.

• Ability to collaborate with various levels of the organization: Agile teams in India, UK client technical teams, and senior teams from both clients and Unisys.

• Troubleshoot issues effectively.

• Familiarity with using AI to create and enhance Products is a desirable quality and should be a goal.
