Principal Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Provide senior architectural guidance across the BOYLE Sports platform.

• Convert platform strategy into practical designs and establish technical direction.

• Own and implement transformation architecture, including migration to AWS.

• Ensure optimal performance and user experience of the new sportsbook front end.

• Supervise the strategic breakdown of the Oracle monolith into microservices.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams and the Head of Engineering Delivery to provide effective solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering and architecture.

• Proven experience as an architect within a recognized sportsbook.

• Extensive knowledge of essential sportsbook operations, including odds/price ingestion and bet placement.

• Established history of architecting and implementing large-scale transformations, such as cloud migration to AWS.

• Practical experience in integrating major industry vendors like Sportradar and Optimove.

• Strong proficiency in modern technology stacks including .NET and React/micro-frontends.
