Principal Solution Consultant – PPPM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee intricate solution consulting projects, clarifying business objectives, operational models, value propositions, governance, and implementation strategies.

• Engage in executive-level discovery sessions and transform vague business challenges into consulting narratives, decision-making pathways, phased strategies, and quantifiable outcome models.

• Establish outcome architecture, KPI frameworks, baseline metrics, target objectives, benefits tracking, and governance structures.

• Provide guidance to customers and executives on work governance, organizational frameworks, portfolio management, OKRs, reporting structures, dashboards, and Atlassian-supported work management solutions.

• Implement and refine the Solution Consulting methodology while guiding teams through stage-gate advisory processes.

• Evaluate and enhance engagement deliverables, including value propositions, operational models, roadmaps, governance frameworks, KPI models, benefits trackers, decision logs, and executive briefings.

• Assist in complex pursuits through discovery methodologies, advisory workshops, solution framing, scope assumptions, value propositions, proposals, and Statements of Work (SOWs).

• Collaborate with Sales, Account teams, Engagement Directors, Principal Solution Architects, Technical Architects, and delivery leadership.

• Mentor Senior Solution Consultants and Solution Consultants through feedback, advisory reviews, workshop preparations, and enhancement of deliverables.

• Facilitate hiring, onboarding, training, communities of practice, internal quality assessments, mentoring, capability planning, and talent growth.

• Demonstrate responsible usage of approved AI tools to enhance delivery efficiency, quality, consistency, and value realization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in solution consulting, management consulting, business transformation, enterprise PMO, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), or similar advisory positions.

• Proven track record managing large or intricate consulting engagements with numerous stakeholders, workstreams, phases, or business sectors.

• Experience in designing enterprise work management solutions utilizing Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence.

• Proven expertise in leading executive-level discovery sessions, advisory workshops, governance discussions, and decision-focused client interactions.

• Strong skills in problem framing, value modeling, KPI establishment, roadmapping, operational model design, adoption planning, and benefits tracking.

• Solid understanding of project, program, and portfolio management principles, including governance frameworks, work hierarchies, dependencies, roadmaps, and executive reporting.

• Proficient in stage-gate governance, iterative delivery, consulting methodologies, and outcome-driven advisory practices.

• Familiarity with enterprise delivery, ITSM, Agile methodologies, Work Management, service management, and related Atlassian ecosystem elements.

• Ability to mentor consultants, review advisory materials, and enhance delivery quality through repeatable methods and reusable resources.

• Preferred: experience in regulated, complex, or enterprise environments.

• Preferred: knowledge of ITIL, SAFe, Lean-Agile, DevOps, Enterprise Service Management, change management, or operational model frameworks.

• Preferred: certifications such as Atlassian ACP, SAFe SPC, SAFe LPM, PMP, PMI-PfMP, PMI-PgMP, or equivalent consulting certifications.

• Preferred: experience contributing to practice development, team leadership, recruitment, onboarding, enablement, or consulting quality enhancement programs.
