This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with AspenTech sales teams to facilitate consultative discovery sessions, create innovative solutions, and develop customer-specific strategies.

• Lead and conduct the technical qualification of solutions based on business outcomes.

• Gain insights into regional Metals & Mining, Specialty Chemicals, and Pulp & Paper markets while keeping track of industry and customer developments.

• Acquire knowledge of the AspenTech product portfolio to address customer business challenges and effectively communicate their value.

• Create messaging and materials that position AspenTech solutions, customizing them for regional or market-specific needs.

• Join sales teams during customer engagements and convey AspenTech’s broader industry vision.

• Illustrate AspenTech’s value proposition to the Metals & Mining, Specialty Chemicals, and Pulp & Paper markets through solution programs.

• Engage with senior customer executives to discuss AspenTech’s role in their digital transformation journey.

• Develop industry-specific solutions that align with measurable business value.

• Provide market insights to Product Management to enhance solution adoption.

• Identify and spearhead sales campaigns to expand reach, pipeline, and awareness.

• Train and mentor Sales Account Managers and Solution Consultants on customer engagement techniques.

• Present AspenTech solutions at significant global trade shows and events.


⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience as a consultant, in pre-sales, or in professional services, particularly within the Metals & Mining, Specialty Chemicals, and Pulp & Paper sectors selling software solutions.

• Engineering degree is preferred.

• Comprehensive experience across all aspects of the Metals & Mining, Specialty Chemicals, and Pulp & Paper industries, including best practices and processes.

• Proficiency in one or more AspenTech Solution areas, especially in Advanced Control & Optimization, Asset Performance Management, Data Historization & Fabric, and Engineering.

• Understanding of AI/ML solutions and their applications within solutions and the industry.

• Ability to connect technology with business, articulating high-level technical solutions and their unique value.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills based on stakeholder interactions and data insights.

• A proactive approach to transforming opportunities into recognized value for customers.

• Willingness to travel up to 35% of the time.
