Principal Solution Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Act as a trusted advisor in customer-facing scenarios to identify customer challenges and comprehend business and operational issues.

• Facilitate customer comprehension of Manufacturing Supply Chain solution capabilities, value generation, and enhancements in business processes.

• Clearly articulate comprehensive solutions that align with the technological and business requirements of customers.

• Collaborate with account teams to formulate account strategies and optimize solution usage and growth.

• Enhance solution and vision messaging while creating presentation materials that drive client action.

• Lead or engage in customer consulting initiatives, which include demonstrations, workshops, value assessments, and technical seminars.

• Aid in pipeline development and the execution of sales for designated accounts and opportunities.

• Create commercial proposals.

• Address RFI/RFQ/RFP questionnaires.

• Meet personal productivity, bookings, and Business Consulting-related objectives.

• Challenge clients’ existing business practices to foster results.

⛳️ Requirements

• B.S. degree in Engineering.

• 8–10 years of hands-on experience in consulting, technology, and/or industry.

• At least 5–7 years of experience in roles related to Manufacturing Supply Chain.

• Expertise in Planning, Scheduling, and Blending is essential.

• Strong business insight is required.

• Ability to conduct customer interviews, pinpoint improvement opportunities, overcome resistance to change, and convey customer value creation.

• Enthusiasm for innovative technologies and a willingness to acquire new skills.

• Capacity to connect with customers, sustain effective working relationships, and manage multiple priorities under pressure.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Fluent English speaking is mandatory.

• Experience in Refinery, Petrochemical, Chemical, and/or related industries is essential.

• Familiarity with Planning and Scheduling solutions such as AspenTech PIMS, APS, MBO, Aspen Unified AUP, and AUS, or similar non-AspenTech solutions.

• Experience in batch processing and regulated industries is beneficial but not mandatory.
