Principal Software Engineer – Networking, DGX Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design and create software-defined network infrastructure utilizing EVPN and BGP architectures.

• Contribute to software development workflows with a keen eye for detail.

• Conduct code reviews to ensure reliable and accurate feature implementation.

• Collaborate with the network fabric (underlay) architecture to deploy multi-tenant networking solutions.

• Assist in defining crucial networking strategies that support NVIDIA technologies.

• Lead ambitious networking projects.

• Ensure network processes meet high standards of quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• At least 15 years of experience in networking, with a focus on systems and software engineering.

• Extensive knowledge of BGP, EVPN, IP subnetting, and overlay networking.

• Proficient in writing software to address networking challenges in any programming language.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a methodical approach.

• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

• Proven experience in software development and conducting code reviews.

• Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Experience with cloud-based networking solutions.

• Familiarity with NVIDIA technologies and platforms.

• Contributions to published works or open-source projects in the field of networking.

• Leadership experience in overseeing complex networking projects.
