Principal Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive execution of significant strategic initiatives that substantially enhance business results (e.g., revenue, loss ratio, customer experience).

• Foster alignment among leaders and teams regarding high-impact initiatives, ensuring a clear understanding of priorities, trade-offs, and anticipated effects.

• Influence and make decisions regarding organizational structure, team configuration, and resource distribution to facilitate the effective execution of essential initiatives.

• Establish and guide priorities across various teams and domains, balancing immediate delivery with long-term scalability and resilience.

• Lead collaborative efforts across functions with Product, Data Science, and business stakeholders to convert strategy into cohesive execution.

• Develop and refine technical standards, architecture, and best practices that can be implemented organization-wide.

• Articulate complex technical and strategic ideas to facilitate decision-making and alignment at the executive level.

• Mentor and influence engineering leaders and senior individual contributors, enhancing the organization's ability to recognize opportunities and generate business impact at scale.

• Collaborate with Staff Engineers throughout the organization to establish and promote standards and best practices.

• Over 10 years of experience as a software engineer.

• Demonstrated leadership in projects involving multiple teams across diverse functional areas.
