This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assess the technical feasibility and evaluation of products in alignment with business requirements.
• Provide technical leadership in finalizing designs, conducting code reviews, and troubleshooting production support and maintenance challenges.
• Spearhead the design and implementation of essential software components and systems.
• Guide and mentor technical team members.
• Contribute to the establishment of coding standards, best practices, and guidelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement the technical roadmap.
• Remain updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to foster technical innovation.
• Engage in hands-on coding on a daily basis.
• Direct domain modeling designs.
• Participate in production on-call duties alongside other team members.
• Generate high-quality design documentation.
• Architect and implement intricate software solutions, promote technical excellence, and oversee major engineering projects.
• Influence the organization’s technical roadmap and strategic direction.
• Take ownership of the design, development, release, deployment, and maintenance of complex applications.
• Proven experience at the principal or lead level.
• Over 10 years of proficiency in Java, Spring Boot microservices, and Cloud Native technologies or similar, including at least 2 years in a lead or principal role.
• Designed, developed, and maintained complex software solutions involving multiple stakeholders.
• Skilled in AWS/EKS and SQL/NoSQL platforms.
• Preferred familiarity with service mesh technologies such as Istio/Envoy.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of cloud-based development tools and methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience in designing critical applications that interface with various internal and external systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of software development processes within a distributed, multi-geographical team setting.
• Solid hands-on experience in domain-driven modeling and API development.
• Good working knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices and responsibilities.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities along with strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proven capability to mentor other technical team members.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is regarded as a differentiator.
• Architecture-level cloud or product certifications are also considered advantageous.
• Applicants must have authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship, including CPT/OPT, is not available.
• A reliable high-speed internet connection with a wired setup and a suitable home workspace is required for remote work.
