This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Define the technical roadmap and architecture for enterprise-level Digital Menu Board solutions utilized by major global QSR brands.
• Lead, mentor, and technically oversee an agile team of skilled engineers, promoting a culture of ongoing improvement.
• Design and scale platforms using TypeScript, NestJS, Express, Angular/React/Svelte, and cloud-native infrastructures.
• Drive internationalization efforts and travel occasionally to engage with global stakeholders and clients.
• Perform code reviews, establish best practices, and resolve technical challenges.
• Define, document, and implement technical standards, coding guidelines, and architectural patterns throughout the organization.
• Own and implement the i18n strategy to ensure the platform effectively accommodates various regional, language, and localization needs.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps, Product Management, and executive stakeholders to synchronize technical roadmaps with business goals.
• Assist with cloud infrastructure deployments and platform scalability projects in collaboration with DevOps teams.
• Identify and address architectural bottlenecks to enhance system performance, security, and maintainability.
• Over 7 years of professional software engineering experience with a proven history of delivering enterprise-scale web applications.
• Proven Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams, manage deliverables, mentor colleagues, and align technical efforts with business objectives.
• Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge in TypeScript, object-oriented programming, and backend frameworks such as NestJS and Express.
• Frontend Proficiency: Strong architectural comprehension of at least one modern framework (Angular, React, or Svelte).
• Internationalization Proficiency: Practical experience in architecting and implementing robust i18n frameworks for global application deployment.
• Cloud & Architecture: Familiarity with dependency injection patterns (e.g., tsyringe) and designing cloud-based infrastructure for distributed applications.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel as necessary to collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, or regional hubs.
• Communication: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
