Principal Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and uphold scalable full-stack applications.

• Spearhead architecture, technical design, and best engineering practices.

• Create modern frontend applications utilizing React.js.

• Develop scalable backend services with Node.js and Python.

• Promote the use of AI-assisted development to enhance engineering efficiency.

• Mentor and support engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and career advancement.

• Work collaboratively with Product, Design, and Business teams to provide customer-centric solutions.

• Oversee technical priorities, stakeholder expectations, and project execution.

• Continuously enhance application performance, reliability, and scalability.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7–8 years of experience in software engineering.

• Must be presently employed at a product-based company.

• Experience in a B2B SaaS environment is highly preferred.

• Solid hands-on expertise in both frontend and backend development.

• Proficiency in React.js, Node.js, and Python.

• Experience in designing and developing scalable web applications.

• Strong understanding of system design, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.

• Practical experience with AI-powered developer tools such as Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or equivalents.

• Experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams.

• Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder expectations and collaborate with Product, Design, and Business teams.

• Strong ownership, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

• Experience in a startup environment is preferred.
