Principal Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conceptualize, document, and lead the architectural vision for the platform

• Take charge of intricate, end-to-end initiatives from design and architecture through to development, deployment, and iterative improvements

• Create the framework that consolidates Aura's data into a reliable, high-quality source for generating insights

• Design how AI agents access and interpret sensitive information

• Develop the systems that transform that intelligence into tailored insights and actions

• Make and defend impactful technology decisions across the entire stack

• Establish and promote engineering best practices

• Act as a technical mentor, offering guidance on challenging design issues

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of professional experience in software engineering

• Extensive experience overseeing systems from start to finish as the primary technical authority on large, complex projects

• In-depth understanding of software design best practices, data structures, algorithms, and foundational concepts of distributed systems

• Comprehensive knowledge of cloud technologies with the ability to select the appropriate tools for various tasks

• Proven experience in developing systems that manage sensitive or regulated data

• Outstanding communication and collaboration capabilities

• Proven willingness and ability to learn new technologies

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
