This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, architect, and develop advanced software systems, with the potential for 100% coding involvement.
• Offer daily technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
• Collaborate with technology leaders to influence the direction of technology, manage patterns, and ensure system consistency.
• Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to align technology implementation with the organization's objectives.
• Oversee troubleshooting and root cause analysis to uphold system reliability.
• Engage with vendors regarding estimates, delivery schedules, and project timelines.
• Ensure the technological integrity and quality of vendor solutions across multiple projects.
• Direct delivery and provide technical direction across a suite of applications.
• Develop strategies for technology optimization and modernization, including reducing technical debt.
• Identify and execute process enhancements.
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing initiatives for both internal and vendor partner expertise.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for complex components within the application environment.
• Collaborate with architects on enterprise architecture technology decisions.
• Provide high-level technical expertise across intricate technology components.
• Establish best practices, reusable components, and technology guidelines.
• Lead incident response and resolution for critical production challenges.
• Engage in special projects and organization-wide initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 12–15 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 3–5 years in a senior or principal engineering position.
• Extensive coding proficiency with .NET Unified Platform V8 and .NET Framework 4.8.
• Experience in implementing Pub-Sub and Streaming for event-driven architectures.
• Preference for Confluent or Red Panda Kafka.
• Comprehensive knowledge and application of advanced software engineering principles, theories, and concepts.
• Ability to devise and implement innovative solutions that align with complex organizational goals and objectives.
• Strong customer focus and the capacity to communicate technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Preferred in-depth knowledge of the healthcare or PBM industry.
• Extensive experience working within a vendor partner framework.
• Willingness to work beyond standard hours to meet critical project deadlines.
• Exceptional skills in mentoring and coaching.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to dynamic environments, and meet deadlines.
• Strong collaborative capabilities across multidisciplinary project teams.
• Experience in implementing innovative solutions using Java, React, or Go.
