Principal ServiceNow HR Service Delivery – Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow HRSD solutions that support enterprise HR initiatives.

• Configure and sustain HRSD components, including HR services, case templates, HR knowledge, workflows, lifecycle events, journeys, COEs, and security/role models.

• Enhance, maintain, and modernize existing HRSD solutions to elevate employee experience and HR operational efficiency.

• Create workflow automation, UI policies, data policies, business rules, client scripts, and HRSD integrations.

• Collaborate with HR product owners and stakeholders to convert HR and business needs into scalable technical solutions.

• Integrate HRSD with core HR systems such as Workday and SAP, alongside other enterprise platforms.

• Engage with virtual HR customers, process owners, and development teams utilizing communication and collaboration tools.

• Generate and uphold technical documentation for HRSD solutions, configurations, and modifications.

• Provide mentorship, training, and demonstrations on HRSD capabilities to fellow professionals.

• Fulfill emergency on-call duties as necessary to support production HRSD services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with over 5 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with more than 3 years of relevant experience.

• Practical ServiceNow development experience with considerable HRSD module expertise.

• Proficient in JavaScript and familiar with Python or PowerShell for automation and integration tasks.

• Knowledge of SQL database connections, object structures, and queries.

• Capability to research and assess new ServiceNow and HRSD functionalities.

• Self-driven, innovative problem-solver who can adapt to new technologies and changing requirements.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical HR stakeholders.

• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities.

• Keen attention to detail along with solid conceptual, analytical, and planning skills.

• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills in a virtual/remote setting.

• Willingness to travel occasionally to support various locations.

• Experience with object-oriented programming concepts and patterns is preferred.

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer and/or ServiceNow Certified HRSD Implementation Specialist is preferred.

• Experience in implementing or supporting HR processes in ServiceNow or similar platforms is preferred.

• Experience integrating ServiceNow with HRIS systems such as Workday, SAP, or PeopleSoft is preferred.

• Familiarity with SAFe Agile methodology and agile delivery teams is preferred.
