Principal Scientific Research Expert – Computational Theory, Physics

📋 Description

• Identify and articulate foundational open problems, theoretical limits, and computational hurdles where progress can be rigorously assessed.

• Guide AI models and agents through intricate, multi-step research processes that encompass mathematical proofs, algorithm development, numerical experimentation, and high-performance simulations.

• Validate research findings by employing proof verification, computational reproduction, formal methods, and various rigorous evaluation strategies.

• Evaluate the novelty, accuracy, and scientific relevance of research outputs in comparison to established findings and current literature.

• Prepare succinct research memos that document attempted solutions, partial advancements, model constraints, and recurring reasoning errors.

• Suggest promising research avenues, subfields, and unresolved issues that are well-suited for exploration using advanced AI models and computational resources.

• Exercise critical judgment when assessing technical work outside of your direct research specialization.

• Assist in establishing evaluation criteria that differentiate authentic scientific advancement from plausible yet unsupported claims.

⛳️ Requirements

• Approximately 7–10+ years of active research experience in computer science, mathematical physics, computational physics, or a closely related field.

• A strong track record of scholarly contributions, including publications in prestigious conferences, journals, or other recognized research platforms.

• Extensive hands-on experience with computational research methodologies, such as numerical analysis, simulation, algorithm implementation, or high-performance computing.

• Proven ability to rigorously evaluate technical claims, verify outcomes, and identify gaps in mathematical or computational reasoning.

• Strong familiarity with the research literature and established findings in your domain.

• Excellent analytical, technical writing, and research communication capabilities.

• Capacity to work independently, tackle ambiguous problems, and clearly communicate findings.
