This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon, +1 more state.
• Establish and manage the Rhythm of Business (RoB) for the Commercial organization, ensuring operational excellence and rigorous discipline across all field operations.
• Oversee the weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadence of activities for the commercial and renewals teams, encompassing QBRs, forecasting, planning, and opportunity management.
• Guarantee timely and accurate completion of assigned Commercial and Renewals objectives, proactively monitoring the sales organization’s adherence to CRM data standards and process discipline.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the Global VP of Commercial and Sales leadership, influencing GTM strategy and supporting the global Product-Led Growth (PLG) initiative.
• Represent the requirements of the Commercial and Renewals business in significant cross-departmental initiatives, ensuring alignment between the overarching business strategy and daily operational processes.
• Develop and enable global standards, policies, and procedures to enhance operations within a high-volume, transactional sales environment.
• Enhance the end-to-end renewals lifecycle to actively boost customer retention rates, reduce churn, and promote sustainable growth and expansion across our extensive long-tail business.
• Utilize historical trends, pipeline coverage data, and deal-specific insights to assist leaders during forecasting, delivering highly predictable outcomes.
• Evaluate customer health and consumption data to identify potential downgrade risks, working with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new risk mitigation strategies.
• Create repeatable, complex analyses and operational models (using Excel/Google Sheets) that integrate vast datasets to uncover trends, consumption patterns, and product adoption.
• Manage and refine reporting packages for team effectiveness, conducting thorough metrics reviews with sales management to enhance productivity and actionable insights.
• Lead initiatives aimed at streamlining workflows, optimizing the CRM (Salesforce) experience, and enhancing efficiency throughout the Commercial and Renewals organization.
• Over 8 years of relevant experience, ideally within a SaaS software provider or professional IT services company in Operations, Customer Success, or other client-facing roles.
• At least 5 years of focused experience in sales operations or revenue operations, with a proven record in field sales operations and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
• Experience in supporting a high-velocity, transactional business segment with a solid understanding of customer dynamics, sales lifecycles, and renewal patterns.
• Exceptional analytical skills: Candidates must efficiently leverage multiple data sources, integrate them, handle large datasets, and construct highly complex Excel/Google Sheets models.
• Proven communication and presentation skills, capable of structuring and delivering clear executive presentations (PowerPoint/Google Slides) to influence C-level executives and field teams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, mature judgment, and the capability to align teams, negotiate, and drive cross-functional projects to successful completion.
• In-depth knowledge of SaaS and experience with consumption-based business models.
• High technical proficiency: Advanced expertise in Salesforce, Excel, Tableau, and familiarity with SQL.
