• Oversee the transformation of CINC’s release and delivery framework from a stage-gated approach to a continuous flow model, utilizing Lean, DevOps, and flow principles.
• Mentor engineering, product, and leadership teams on contemporary delivery practices such as trunk-based development, small batch flow, test automation, and continuous delivery.
• Develop and uphold the system of work for value flow, including visual management, planning cadence, and alignment of product and platform initiatives.
• Establish and evaluate delivery performance metrics using DORA and flow metrics (deployment frequency, lead time, change failure rate, mean time to recovery, WIP, and flow efficiency).
• Facilitate release planning and readiness reviews with an emphasis on enhancing the process rather than merely tracking deadlines.
• Collaborate with Platform & DevEx and Architecture teams to automate quality and compliance signals, ensuring that approvals are based on system health rather than meetings.
• Identify and resolve organizational bottlenecks through data analysis, experimentation, and structured decision-making.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to balance demand, capacity, and dependencies throughout the portfolio.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement via retrospectives, postmortems, and system-level reflections.
• Ensure visibility and transparency of ongoing work, risks, and dependencies through modern VSM tools and dashboards.
• Guide teams in conflict resolution, promoting constructive discussions while maintaining respect, clarity, and shared accountability.
• Collaborate with the CTO and VP of Platform & DevEx to refine governance models and delivery practices that align with the organization’s speed and safety objectives.
• Over 10 years of experience in software delivery or engineering leadership roles.
• Demonstrated success in leading or transforming release processes toward continuous delivery in intricate, multi-team software settings.
• Strong technical expertise in modern software engineering practices, including CI/CD pipelines, trunk-based development, automation, and DevOps principles.
• In-depth familiarity with Lean flow concepts, constraints theory, and systems thinking.
• Experience in utilizing and interpreting delivery data (DORA, flow metrics, SLOs) to drive improvements and alignment.
• Background in working with cloud-native and service-oriented architectures is advantageous.
• Ability to work across various technologies, from monolithic systems to microservices, prioritizing flow over specific tools.
• Experience with SQL Server or other enterprise database systems is a plus.
• Competitive salary.
• Health insurance.
• Professional development opportunities.
• Flexible work arrangements.
