This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
β’ Deliver technical leadership and regulatory knowledge across non-food consumer product categories.
β’ Serve as the primary technical authority for the Advisory team.
β’ Oversee regulatory interpretation, horizon scanning, compliance risk management, technical quality assurance, and ongoing improvement.
β’ Review, analyze, question, and approve packaging copy and product specifications based on supplier specifications.
β’ Ensure that packaging copy adheres to current and upcoming EU and UK legislation, codes of practice, client demands, and industry standards.
β’ Confirm that programs utilize the most recent SOPs, crib sheets, checklists, and mandatory regulatory requirements.
β’ Assist advisors with intricate regulatory inquiries and best-practice recommendations.
β’ Facilitate training, cross-training, and onboarding for junior advisors in the advisory team.
β’ Create, develop, and manage working instructions, crib sheets, and checklists.
β’ Engage with regulatory authorities and enforcement agencies.
β’ Conduct weekly horizon scanning and track legislation, industry guidance, news, events, and trends.
β’ Formulate a technical sign-off checklist and evaluate and approve regulatory tasks.
β’ Interact with clients, suppliers, design agencies, print houses, and both internal and external stakeholders.
β’ Act as the main point of contact for complex technical inquiries from clients.
β’ Address claims or complaints stemming from advisory errors and provide solutions.
β’ Manage client retainer requests.
β’ Share expert insights to evaluate project feasibility and enhance system efficiency.
β’ Participate in internal and external meetings with business development, account managers, clients, suppliers, and enforcement agencies.
β’ Currently employed in a Regulatory Affairs or product quality position.
β’ Knowledge of UK and EU consumer protection legislation.
β’ Ability to interpret and implement retailer corporate policies and UK/EU legislation.
β’ Demonstrated experience with UK and EU consumer protection laws.
β’ Background in training and guiding technical teams.
β’ Experience collaborating directly with large retailers or multinational brands.
