📋 Description

• Take ownership of Tines’ compliance program for federal and public sectors across U.S. federal, DoD, and SLED environments.

• Develop and implement the program roadmap, governance model, and operational cadence, ensuring stakeholder alignment and progress tracking against key milestones.

• Convert regulatory, security, contractual, and customer requirements into strategic program plans and collaborative cross-functional initiatives involving Security, GRC, Engineering, Product, IT, Legal, Sales, and partner teams.

• Collaborate with Security, Product, and Engineering teams to guarantee that compliance initiatives align with system architecture, deployment strategies, operational scalability, and customer requirements.

• Lead the prioritization and decision-making processes regarding public sector certifications, attestations, and regulatory initiatives, assessing business impact, customer demand, implementation complexity, and organizational readiness.

• Act as a strategic partner and central coordination point among Legal, Sales, Security, and GRC, facilitating navigation through complex compliance scenarios and ensuring alignment between technical implementation, contractual obligations, and go-to-market strategies.

• Identify and manage program-level risks, gaps, dependencies, and trade-offs, escalating issues with clear and actionable recommendations.

• Provide expertise on the broader public sector ecosystem, including DFARS, GSA schedules, agency-specific requirements, and flow-down obligations, connecting these requirements to compliance, product, and commercial decisions.

• Stay informed on evolving federal and public sector regulatory, security, and procurement requirements, translating new developments into actionable guidance for leadership and internal teams.

• Work closely with Tines’ public sector legal team, leveraging their subject matter expertise on legal interpretation, contractual commitments, procurement requirements, and regulatory positioning, while ensuring these considerations are integrated into program execution.


⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in leading and coordinating complex public sector compliance and regulatory programs across various frameworks and stakeholders in cloud and SaaS environments.

• Strong background in FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, CMMC, DoD Impact Levels (IL4/IL5), FISMA, CJIS, and GovRAMP, with a solid understanding of how these requirements are operationalized.

• Capability to translate regulatory and compliance requirements into practical architecture, control implementation, documentation, and operational processes, including defining system boundaries, inheritance models, and shared responsibility considerations.

• Deep understanding of how public sector requirements interact with technical architecture, security controls, legal commitments, customer expectations, and commercial constraints.

• Familiarity with the broader public sector regulatory and procurement landscape, including knowledge of DFARS, GSA schedules, agency procurement processes, and customer-specific flow-down requirements.

• Insight into how legal, regulatory, contractual, and security requirements navigate public sector environments, with the ability to proactively identify issues and collaborate effectively with Legal and other stakeholders.

• Proven ability to operate strategically and make scalable decisions across multiple regulatory frameworks, business priorities, and customer use cases.

• Demonstrated success in influencing and aligning senior stakeholders across both technical and non-technical teams in dynamic, high-growth environments.

• Established capability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives involving Security, GRC, Engineering, Product, Legal, and Sales.

• Exceptional skills in program leadership and prioritization, encompassing roadmap development, dependency management, risk identification, prioritization, and executive communication.
