• Design and sustain positioning, unique messaging, and a unified narrative that aligns our distinctive value with customer requirements.
• Direct the go-to-market strategy for product launches, from the bill of materials to sales enablement.
• Develop demand generation content aimed at both technical and business audiences: developers integrating reporting, data team leaders, and analytics buyers assessing platforms.
• Create and provide internal enablement resources and training, including product tours, email sequences, pitch materials, customer success stories, and demo scripts.
• Develop sales strategies and campaigns that enhance adoption and impact the sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with R&D to influence the product roadmap and convey our AI narrative, covering agentic workflows, AI-driven data enrichment, natural language dashboard creation, and automated insights.
• Analyze the competitive landscape and offer strategic insights for product positioning and input on the product management roadmap.
• Work alongside Customer Marketing and Product Management on the retention content calendar, including webinars, user engagement days, roadmap workshops, and expansion strategies.
• Introduce new features to the market and create enablement materials that enhance renewal discussions regarding AI capabilities.
• Convert roadmap updates into customer-facing messaging that emphasizes value during renewal periods.
• Contribute to Actian's overarching AI narrative as we enhance agentic, MCP-connected, and LLM-ready capabilities across various product lines.
• Generate messaging and content for cross-selling expansion initiatives within the Actian portfolio.
• 6-10 years of Product Marketing Management experience in enterprise software, with significant exposure to data, analytics, BI, or related fields.
• Proven experience in marketing a BI or analytics product directly.
• Background in marketing to analytics teams, data engineers, and application developers.
• Understanding of how AI capabilities are transforming BI product roadmaps and influencing buyer expectations.
• Experience with open-source communities, free trials, and product-led growth strategies.
• Practical experience with AI tools and workflow automation (this is an important aspect).
