This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and uphold positioning, distinct messaging, and a unified narrative that aligns our unique value with customer requirements.
• Oversee go-to-market strategies for product launches from the bill of materials to sales enablement.
• Develop demand generation content aimed at technical and business audiences: developers integrating reporting, data team leaders, and analytics buyers assessing platforms.
• Create and present internal enablement resources and training materials: product tours, email sequences, pitch documents, customer stories, and demo scripts.
• Formulate sales strategies and campaigns that promote adoption and impact the sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with R&D to refine the product roadmap and communicate our AI narrative, which includes agentic workflows, AI-enhanced data enrichment, natural language dashboard development, and automated insights.
• Analyze the competitive landscape and offer strategic insights for product positioning and PM roadmap contributions.
• Work alongside Customer Marketing and PM on the retention content calendar: webinars, user days, roadmap workshops, and expansion strategies.
• Introduce new features to the market and develop enablement resources that enhance renewal discussions regarding AI capabilities.
• Convert roadmap updates into customer-facing messaging that underscores value during renewal periods.
• Contribute to Actian's broader AI narrative as we expand agentic, MCP-connected, and LLM-ready features across product lines.
• Generate messaging and content for cross-sell expansion initiatives within the Actian portfolio.
• 6-10 years of Product Marketing Management experience in enterprise software, with significant exposure to data, analytics, business intelligence, or related fields.
• Proven experience in marketing a business intelligence or analytics product directly.
• Background in marketing to analytics teams, data engineers, and application developers.
• Understanding of how AI capabilities are transforming BI product roadmaps and influencing buyer expectations.
• Experience engaging with open-source communities, free trials, and product-led growth models.
• Practical experience with AI tools and workflow automation (this aspect is crucial).
