
Principal Product Manager – Vertical Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage vertical datasets throughout their lifecycle, encompassing sourcing, development, entity resolution, delivery, pricing, packaging, and revenue generation.
• Establish audience definitions, coverage parameters, accuracy benchmarks, quality standards, and criteria for completion of datasets.
• Collaborate with data engineering and platform engineering teams to transition datasets from the warehouse to the GTM Data Store, APIs, MCP, and various applications.
• Document requirements, define use-case queries, oversee testing processes, and facilitate handoffs.
• Take charge of pricing and packaging strategies, including price-book placement, licensing models, supplemental terms, and bundling options.
• Support product-led and sales-led commercialization by enhancing in-product discoverability, creating sales materials, developing data reference guides, outlining use cases, and providing sales support.
• Engage directly with strategic customers and sales teams to grasp their needs and refine datasets and offerings.
• Create vertical solutions and workflows by integrating datasets into cohesive packages.
• Coordinate data quality efforts, engineering deliverables, pricing strategies, legal considerations, and marketing initiatives across teams.
• Prioritize dataset investments based on revenue potential, customer demand, and the intrinsic value of core data.
• Integrate customer feedback and delivery insights into future product development cycles.
• Possess a commercial mindset, with an understanding of products in relation to their target customers and pricing rationale.
• Have experience managing a budget or closely collaborating with decision-makers to influence prioritization.
• Strong customer-facing experience in enterprise product management, solutions consulting, professional services, or a data-oriented role within a customer-facing data company.
• Background in constructing data solutions that amalgamate multiple datasets into products or workflows tailored for specific markets.
• Ideally possess experience in financial services, insurance, or other data-intensive sectors.
• Comprehensive product management experience encompassing discovery, requirements gathering, engineering collaboration, product launches, enablement, pricing strategies, and shipping across multiple teams.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Understanding of entity resolution and the trade-offs between coverage, accuracy, and freshness.
• Experience with B2B data, data licensing, or data-as-a-service is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with public records, regulatory filings, or industry-specific data sources is a plus.
• Demonstrated ownership and a sense of urgency in responsibilities.
• Competence with AI tools, including Claude Code or similar technologies.
