
Principal Product Manager – Steerage & Financial Incentives

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop a new product line that integrates financial incentives with HealthJoy’s healthcare benefits engagement platform.
• Determine the appropriate approach for development, acquisition, or partnership, and identify infrastructure collaborators.
• Lead decisions related to regulatory frameworks, financial models, and operational design.
• Take ownership of the incentive and compliance framework, including member rewards and reimbursement triggers.
• Work collaboratively with legal and benefits advisors to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Create and rigorously evaluate unit economics, pricing strategies, underwriting assumptions, and risk structures in collaboration with Finance.
• Outline behavior-change journeys, identify influence points, establish measurement methodologies, and define outcomes needed from interdependent teams.
• Craft the go-to-market strategy, positioning, sales support, and market narrative tailored for brokers and consultants.
• Establish operational standards while managing the ROI, retention, expansion, and renewal value proposition.
• Influence various teams, including Clinical Programs & Member Experience, Engineering & Data, Finance, Legal & Compliance, Network & External Partners, Product Marketing, and Sales.
• Report directly to the Chief Product Officer, operating with a high degree of autonomy and executive access.
• Over 10 years of product management experience, with significant tenure at a senior or principal level.
• Proven experience as the lead PM on a product, without a Group Product Manager above them.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Background in healthcare, benefits, insurance, or fintech is preferred.
• Experience in launching a new product from the ground up, facing partner dependencies, regulatory restrictions, and commercial pressures.
• Business-owner mentality, capable of managing P&L logic and intricate product details.
• Proficiency in compliance-related discussions and leading conversations with legal counsel.
• Expertise in financial modeling, including unit economics and stress-testing pricing frameworks.
• Experience in driving outcomes across teams without formal authority.
• Go-to-market experience in channel-driven environments that involve brokers and consultants.
• Familiarity with AI, including tools for research, synthesis, specification drafting, and competitive analysis.
• Insight into AI-driven personalization and recommendations in regulated healthcare settings.
• Capability to draft product briefs and compliance memoranda, as well as present pricing models and member journeys.
• An MBA or a background in healthcare, law, or finance is advantageous but not mandatory.
