This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take ownership of the social and community aspects of Fanatics' interconnected sports ecosystem from start to finish.
• Develop the growth strategy for the ecosystem, including social mechanics, roadmap, and build order.
• Track consumer social trends and evaluate their impact on Fanatics.
• Create product-led acquisition loops through invitations, referrals, friend discovery, sharing, and social features.
• Establish identity, public profiles, reputation, and a cohesive social graph across various Fanatics verticals.
• Facilitate discovery based on friends' actions and implement a secure privacy model.
• Design fan experiences that revolve around moments, context, emotions, generosity, and timing.
• Foster community and shared experiences to enhance retention.
• Manage the strategy for gamification, progression, group competition, squad competition, and rewards.
• Define and evaluate the value of social levers using metrics such as acquisition cost, retention, cross-product LTV, and product penetration.
• Rapidly prototype and present products to fans using a small, AI-focused team.
• Assess success through metrics like acquisition cost reduction, social connection density, cross-product transitions, retention, engagement, Fanatics ONE growth, login adoption, and partner-team engagement.
• A minimum of eight years in product management, including experience with growth and social, community, or network products at a consumer scale.
• Proven track record in developing social products where value is derived from user interactions and understanding graph construction.
• Experience in managing growth metrics and advocating for a product roadmap.
• Background in both acquisition and retention strategies.
• Proficient in crafting narratives that align the company and collaborating with engineers and designers for swift product delivery.
• Capability to build prototypes quickly and abandon unsuccessful initiatives efficiently.
• Familiarity with consumer social products and insights into fan behaviors.
• Skill in making decisions with limited information and pivoting based on data insights.
• Ability to write queries, design tests, engage in discussions about incrementality with data scientists, and differentiate genuine growth from seasonal influences.
• Experience in moderating user-generated content, handling abuse, and managing bad actors.
• Background in launching social or user-generated content in a regulated or high-scrutiny environment is a plus.
