Principal Product Manager, Data and AI Products

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee various product initiatives from inception to completion—including discovery, validation, delivery, and adoption.

• Propel the adoption and enhancement of data mesh and platform capabilities across engineering, analytics, and product teams.

• Develop scalable and simplified data systems that minimize complexity and unlock lasting value for customers.

• Collaborate with engineering, design, program management, and market-specific teams to define and implement product strategies.

• Methodically prioritize and sequence backlogs with transparency and alignment to business outcomes.

• Proactively identify and address cross-team challenges, clarifying ambiguities and ensuring clarity for global partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in product management; experience with data products/platforms supporting AI/ML at scale is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated ownership of intricate data products or systems with quantifiable outcomes (strong examples of “I did”).

• Proven ability to drive results across cross-functional teams (engineering, data science, design, and business stakeholders) through influence without formal authority.

• Exceptional communication and listening skills; capable of distilling complex topics into clear narratives for various audiences.

• Practical technical fluency with contemporary data technologies and ecosystems (experience with ADLS, Microsoft Fabric, or similar is a plus).

• Experience working in a global, highly matrixed environment, aligning partners across different geographies and time zones.

• Familiarity with agile development practices, methodologies, and tools.

• Proven track record of delivering platform-level capabilities (not just features) and elevating quality standards through clear definitions of excellence.

• Strong business and financial insight; able to connect product decisions to measurable customer and margin impacts.
