Principal Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish and propel the vision for the product domain while developing an action plan that prioritizes impact, outcomes, and the speed of learning.

• Lead the identification and prioritization of problems.

• Assess internal and market indicators to uncover promising long-term investments and product concepts.

• Utilize frameworks and structured reasoning to make decisions in uncertain situations.

• Define expected outcomes, key performance indicators (KPIs), and success measures.

• Conduct both qualitative and quantitative research on customer needs.

• Foster relationships with stakeholders and ensure alignment among leadership and cross-functional teams around the product vision.

• Collaborate with engineering to develop and implement high-quality solutions.

• Assist in formulating go-to-market strategies for major product launches.

• Communicate the product roadmap, vision, results, and trade-offs throughout the organization.

• Adapt, scale, or discontinue initiatives based on insights gained.

• Present concepts and prototypes using AI to validate ideas or conduct experiments.

• Report to the Head of Product and work in tandem with engineering, design, marketing, and strategic partnerships.

⛳️ Requirements

• Authorization to work in the United States on a permanent, full-time basis.

• 8–10 years of experience in product management, preferably in B2C or marketplace settings, overseeing a significant product area.

• Proven record of successfully launching products.

• User-centric approach, demonstrating empathy for users, and a strong sense for excellent user experience.

• Robust business acumen with a tendency to leverage data for decision-making.

• Capability to foresee second- and third-order consequences and decision trade-offs.

• Proficiency in reframing ambiguous or cross-functional challenges.

• Experience in nonprofit, impact-driven, or philanthropic sectors is a plus.

• Ability to articulate ideas and prototype utilizing AI.
