Principal Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Expand and enhance the data products that underpin DomainTools' threat intelligence offerings.

• Implement products with an API-first approach and seamlessly integrate them into user interfaces, AI systems, and third-party workflows.

• Leverage business insights to prioritize opportunities effectively.

• Acquire in-depth knowledge of users and customers, understanding the platforms they utilize to interact with the products.

• Monitor industry developments and the competitive environment.

• Work collaboratively with engineering, marketing, sales, and solutions engineering teams to bring solutions to market.

• Persuade teammates, colleagues, stakeholders, and key executives using data and logical reasoning.

• Operate as an individual contributor within the product team.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in cybersecurity or data-centric product management, focusing on delivering data-driven analytics and products.

• Profound understanding of the business and its customers, with insights into how users engage with data products and how they are valued by buyers.

• Familiarity with threat intelligence products, threat feeds, APIs, and associated technologies.

• Experience engaging with customers utilizing data warehousing, data science, and Big Data technologies.

• Proven track record of integrating data products within third-party ecosystems, including customer and partner environments.

• Experience with Agile (kanban/scrum) development methodologies and teams.

• Strong interpersonal skills, collaborating with cross-functional teams to transition solutions from ideation to market launch.

• Exceptional writing, communication, and presentation abilities.

• Must be US-based, with a willingness to accommodate core hours overlapping at least 9am-3pm US Pacific time.

• Preferred: Background in cybersecurity investigations, threat defense, incident response, or related fields.

• Preferred: Comprehensive understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and contemporary security architectures.

• Preferred: Knowledge of DNS, IP, TLS/SSL certificates, web crawling, BGP, and NetFlow data.

• Preferred: Experience with real-time data collection, processing, and delivery.

• Preferred: Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and agentic workflows.

• Preferred: Exposure to predictive analytics and machine learning (ML) data products.

• Preferred: Experience with distributed systems and cloud computing.
