Principal Product Manager – AI Websites

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage the product strategy and roadmap for AI-driven website creation and the comprehensive site building experience.

• Oversee the entire customer journey, from capturing intent through AI generation, editing, publishing, and iterative improvements.

• Integrate and manage AI technologies and third-party vendors involved in site generation, design frameworks, and content delivery.

• Establish experience standards for AI-generated websites, focusing on layout quality, default content, personalization, and mobile adaptability.

• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to convert AI capabilities into straightforward, guided workflows that enable customer success.

• Foster activation and completion of site creation, ensuring customers progress confidently from initial setup to a live site.

• Set and monitor success metrics such as site creation completion rate, time-to-publish, retention rates, and customer satisfaction levels.

• Coordinate dependencies and prioritize tasks across Product, Engineering, Design, Legal, and Go-To-Market teams for AI-driven features.

• Drive launches and enhancements that significantly boost site creation adoption and long-term user retention.

• Provide transparent updates to leadership regarding roadmap advancements, trade-offs, and results.

• Serve as a quality benchmark for products, ensuring AI-generated experiences are cohesive, on-brand, and ready for production.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in product management, with a focus on complex, customer-centric products.

• A keen interest in staying updated on the latest AI developments and their implications for web creation and digital presence.

• Currently evolving into a future-oriented Product Manager by utilizing AI tools and prototyping methodologies.

• Extensive knowledge of the web presence sector, including website builders, hosting services, and online branding.

• Strong intuition for product experience design, workflow optimization, and usability, particularly within creation tools.

• Demonstrated success in developing products that leverage third-party platforms or vendor ecosystems.

• Experience with design concepts, user journey mapping, and conversion rate enhancement strategies.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams regarding AI integration challenges, API constraints, reliability, and scalability.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly in aligning cross-functional teams.

• Highly self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy at senior levels.

• Capacity to think strategically while remaining closely attuned to actual customer usage and feedback.
