This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
β’ Take charge of the AI Observability roadmap along with the leadership tracks focused on business outcomes (adoption, retention, expansion), in addition to non-product responsibilities such as pricing discussions, executive reporting, and cross-functional escalations.
β’ Guide multiple engineering and design teams simultaneously towards a unified product vision, even without formal authority over them.
β’ Collaborate directly with key enterprise customers, including their platform and infrastructure teams, to determine how to implement AI safely and quickly convert operational challenges at their scale into actionable product requirements.
β’ Create working prototypes independently using agentic AI workflows, ensuring that concepts are rigorously tested before engineering resources are allocated.
β’ Advocate for AI Observability in executive strategy and prioritization decisions, making trade-off decisions when priorities conflict.
β’ Deliver to General Availability (GA), then continue to iterate: pricing, packaging, and the next set of features requested by GA customers once they are operational.
β’ Over 8 years of product management experience, including full ownership of a product area from initial vision through to GA and subsequent growth post-GA.
β’ Experience functioning as a senior individual contributor who influences outcomes across teams without having formal management authority.
β’ Proven experience collaborating directly with enterprise customers on production AI or LLM systems, including tracing, evaluation, governance, cost, or failure modes at scale.
β’ Regular and current application of multiple concurrent AI agents in your work, operated asynchronously and supported by a reliable verification process rather than manual line-by-line review.
β’ Experience representing a product area in executive-level strategy and prioritization discussions.
β’ Weβre not inquiring about whether you use AI tools; we want to understand how advanced you are with them, as this is a crucial requirement. This proficiency should be evident across the entire job scope, including specs, prototypes, evaluations, research, and aspects of go-to-market strategies. Tasks that previously required a team for weeks should now occur in the background while you move on to the next initiative, and your backlog should reflect this efficiency.
