This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee the execution of process safety and engineering projects from initial site engagement to final technical reporting.
• Innovate and expand services in response to client and industry requirements.
• Develop process engineering standards, manuals, methodologies, and procedures tailored for clients.
• Perform audits and authoritative assessments of operational practices against documented procedures and recognized best practices.
• Collaborate with site management, engineering teams, operations, and health & safety teams, including leading initiatives to address process safety challenges.
• Conduct on-site evaluations of vessels, tanks, pipework, and structures, generating precise as-built documentation.
• Lead hazard identification and risk assessment initiatives, including HAZID, HAZOP, and LOPA studies.
• Provide process engineering insights for design reviews, EHS studies, and engineering projects.
• Implement internal strategic development initiatives.
• Mentor and support the professional growth of team members.
• Engage in marketing and business development activities, including managing client relationships.
• Identify cost-effective strategies to enhance client sustainability and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with third-party suppliers to provide comprehensive services.
• Ensure client expectations are fulfilled concerning quality, cost, and timely delivery.
• Assist in building and nurturing the team, promoting a collaborative and productive work atmosphere.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring seamless integration across the organization.
• Chartered Engineer status (or in the process of achieving it) with a degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
• Strong background in process plant design principles, processes, and standards.
• Comprehensive understanding of COMAH and related legislation, codes, and best practices.
• Experience with COMAH regulations is a plus.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
