This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.
• Develop a robust network of partners that align with our Go To Market strategies.
• Meet Partner sales objectives for both new business initiatives and expansion opportunities.
• Evaluate the capacity and capabilities of existing partners, and recruit and enable new partners as necessary.
• Equip Partners with knowledge on key Zendesk value propositions and sales strategies.
• Provide training for Partners on Zendesk products and systems.
• Create a collaborative business plan with key partners and monitor performance on a quarterly basis.
• Coordinate regional sales teams with appropriate Partners for mutual assistance.
• Serve as a bridge between the Zendesk Partner ecosystem and the Sales Team.
• Work with Marketing to execute joint Go To Market activities aimed at generating Partner revenue.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Over 10 years of experience in business-to-business sales.
• At least 3 years in a high-tech SaaS environment.
• Experience in a quota-carrying sales role.
• Proficiency in Google Apps, CRM systems, Docs, and Spreadsheets.
• Strong skills in prospecting, time management, and organizational abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Extensive experience in software/SaaS sales.
• Familiarity with sales methodologies is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills; experience in creating reports and dashboards is a plus.
