This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Identify and recruit new strategic Global System Integrator (SI) partners to enhance revenue growth.
• Enable and activate current GSI partners through training, strategic planning, and collaborative selling activities.
• Oversee the technical and marketing components of integrated partnership launches.
• Conduct regular business reviews with partners to ensure accountability and report on success metrics.
• Collaborate closely with Datadog’s regional enterprise and commercial sales teams.
• Generate a sales pipeline and revenue through partner-sourced net-new opportunities.
• Over 10 years of partner-facing, quota-carrying experience in business development, strategic alliances, or channel sales within a cloud services or software as a service organization.
• Demonstrated success in driving sales opportunities from lead generation to deal closure, effectively negotiating agreements, and fostering enduring partnerships.
• Familiarity with leading Global and regional SI partnerships.
• Ability to swiftly grasp technical concepts and architectural scenarios, explaining them to others both verbally and in writing.
• Willingness to travel 40-50% of the time.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive for translating initiatives from ideation to impactful results.
• Enthusiasm for a fast-paced, often unpredictable growth culture and environment.
• Experience in SaaS and/or consumption-based software platforms.
• Proven ability to identify market opportunities, with a history of initiating go-to-market strategies and ensuring sales execution.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on transforming initiatives from concept to impact.
• Enthusiasm for a dynamic, sometimes unpredictable growth culture and environment.
• Proven experience in recognizing market opportunities, along with a successful track record of launching go-to-market strategies and driving sales follow-through.
• Background in SaaS and/or consumption-based software platforms.
• Experience in systems management or monitoring.
• Experience with partnerships that support Containers and/or DevOps, especially within a cloud environment.
• Technical background or education.
