This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the highest technical authority for BMS, EPMS, PLC, and equipment-level controls throughout the fleet.
• Take ownership of all significant BMS modifications across the fleet, serving as the final technical approver for high-stakes changes.
• Standardize control practices and enforce change management protocols.
• Conduct technical and operational site audits focusing on sequences, alarming, trending, integration health, and cybersecurity.
• Manage the remediation roadmap until completion.
• Approve controls operational readiness and facilitate the transition from commissioning to steady-state operations for each new site.
• Incorporate operational insights into design and manufacturing processes for consistent, repeatable builds.
• Establish a complete BMS in just two days.
• Author and approve high-risk MOPs, EOPs, and AOPs.
• Lead root cause analysis for significant control events until resolution.
• Travel 50 to 75% of the time across the fleet and engage in fieldwork.
• Extensive experience in programming, commissioning, and operating controls in complex central plants and critical environments.
• Capability to take ownership of the front-end within a day at any site.
• Platform-agnostic proficiency in modern BMS/BAS, such as Ignition, Niagara, Metasys, or EcoStruxure.
• Experience in PLC programming on at least one major platform.
• Proficiency in BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, and other key control protocols.
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and fire/life safety systems coordinated by control protocols.
• Proven experience in authoring and executing high-risk controls MOPs in live critical settings.
• Experience leading root cause analysis for significant events until resolution.
• Ability to enforce programming and documentation standards among integrators, OEMs, and vendors.
• Hyperscale or large colocation experience in facilities exceeding hundreds of MW+ is an advantage.
• Familiarity with EPMS platforms and DCIM is a plus.
• Knowledge of historians and scripting in Python or SQL is an added advantage.
• Experience with OT network segmentation and cybersecurity is a plus.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
