This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the lead technical authority for decisions related to network architecture and engineering.
• Spearhead the creation of technical solutions that fulfill or surpass Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Provide technical guidance throughout all phases of the program, including site surveys, design, implementation, and operations.
• Facilitate the advancement of technical solutions to meet future needs, such as Zero Trust Architecture.
• Ensure that solutions comply with the requirements set forth by the Joint Chiefs of Staff, DoD, DISA, and DAF.
• Design comprehensive network solutions that integrate both wired and wireless infrastructure.
• Confirm that solutions adhere to cybersecurity standards, including RMF controls.
• Lead the preparation of technical volumes for government proposals.
• Mentor and guide junior architects and engineers.
• Review and authorize engineering deliverables.
• At least 15 years of experience in enterprise network architecture.
• A minimum of 10 years working with DoD/military networks.
• At least 8 years of experience leading technical solutions for large government contracts.
• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification.
• CCIE or a comparable senior-level networking certification, such as JCNIE.
• Active CompTIA Security+ CE certification.
• Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level III standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to military installations, including OCONUS locations.
• Ability to work in secure facilities.
• Capability to deploy to support critical operations if necessary.
