Principal NetSuite Consultant – Material Handling, WMS/TMS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +3 more locations.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of leading comprehensive NetSuite implementation projects, which include managing scope, budget, and overall project management activities.

• Actively mentor and nurture junior staff, playing a key leadership role in the development of our newly established Materials Handling Operations department.

• Serve as a strategic consultant for clients on intricate business processes related to warehousing and manufacturing, converting operational needs into effective technical designs.

• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning with a readiness to gain in-depth expertise in new NetSuite product areas, specifically Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).

• Be proactive and act as the Client's advocate throughout engagements.

• Facilitate discovery and requirements gathering workshops.

• Direct process mapping/reengineering and design future state processes.

• Advise clients on standard functionalities and best practices for software and industry trends.

• Design functional system configurations, drafting requirements and design documents that include flow diagrams and written specifications.

• Create wireframes and schematic diagrams to assist in customer requirements gathering and overall business process exploration.

• Convert complex business requirements and processes into technical designs.

• Conduct fit/gap analyses on business requirements leading to system design and implementation.

• Collaborate with technical counterparts to provide custom solutions that meet Client expectations.

• Manage project scope and requirements while adhering to budgetary constraints at all times.

• Lead Configuration Workshops and Offline Configuration Activities.

• Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Systems Interface Testing (SIT) processes.

• Direct End User Training (EUT) and enablement planning efforts.

• Define data migration strategies and lead or complete all data migration tasks.

• Offer ongoing support to Clients as needed following go-live.

• Lead all phases of full-cycle NetSuite implementation projects: Plan, Design, Build, Verify, Deploy, and Support.

• Manage project activities such as status meetings, planning, work breakdown, and change control processes.

• Support initiatives to attract new clients to the firm and assist in scoping new projects.

• Contribute to internal company initiatives, including go-to-market strategies, knowledge management, and enablement.

• Willingness to learn and develop NetSuite product skills across all areas as required by customer engagement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Business, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.

• 4+ years of practical NetSuite configuration and consulting/administration experience, with 8+ full lifecycle implementations, including 4+ specific to warehousing or manufacturing.

• NetSuite Certifications are strongly preferred - ERP Consultant, Administrator.

• Excellent interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, and change management abilities.

• Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills.

• Capable of effectively managing client and team interactions, and communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Solid background in finance/accounting, supply chain, consulting services, and/or industry-specific experience.

• Proficient in designing end-to-end solutions using SuiteCloud Platform tools (SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow, SuiteScript, SuiteTalk).

• Extensive knowledge of data migration plans and procedures, coupled with hands-on experience in executing Go-Live cutover data loads.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment.

• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a virtual setting.
