This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

• Offer subject matter expertise (SME) in the structural design and engineering of marine infrastructure projects.

• Execute structural analysis, modeling, and design for marine and waterfront structures.

• Provide technical support to project teams throughout all project phases.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create innovative and sustainable solutions.

• Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, cost estimations, and project timelines.

• Lead and review structural calculations, technical drawings, and specifications.

• Mentor and train junior engineers.

• Interact with clients and stakeholders to present design concepts and project updates.

• Operate personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office locations.

• Minimum of 10 years (15+ years preferred) of hands-on engineering experience in marine structural engineering.

• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software, including SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, or LARSA.

• Strong knowledge of materials utilized in marine environments, such as steel, concrete, timber, and composites.

• Experience with wave, current, and load modeling relevant to marine structures.

• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects concurrently and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Business development skills, including experience in proposal writing, client presentations, and project bids.

• Willingness to perform regular field work and undertake overnight travel.

• Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers.

• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record for business travel.
