This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop foundational AI/ML capabilities that enhance intelligent engagement experiences for Twilio clients.

• Create new functionalities within a dynamic and rapidly adopted product environment.

• Transform vague concepts into structured experiments and implement them within weeks.

• Conduct in-depth research into cutting-edge LLM orchestration, retrieval techniques, and data-driven personalization.

• Construct ML systems that operate at Twilio's scale.

• Quickly acquire technical skills and knowledge in a fast-paced, high-output setting.

• Utilize and integrate the latest AI development frameworks to emphasize core differentiation.

• Spearhead swift research cycles that tackle contextual intelligence and large-scale ML challenges.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of applied ML/AI experience with a proven history of leading technically ambitious systems from inception to completion, rather than contributing to existing designs.

• Ability to thrive in a 0-to-1 environment with ambiguous requirements and a strong inclination for action.

• Proficient in the Python programming language.

• Experience in building cloud-based services on AWS, GCP, or Azure, dealing with high-volume data, streaming or real-time inference paths, and various data storage solutions.

• Extensive expertise in the design, architecture, and deployment of production-grade ML/AI systems, including LLM orchestration, embedding models, and vector databases.

• Strong understanding of statistical machine learning algorithms, transformer models, and LLMs.

• Capability to elevate the technical standards of a team through mentorship, design reviews, and setting standards, without formal management authority.

• Experience in constructing cloud-based services utilizing AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Excellent communication skills and a highly effective collaborator who works well with colleagues.
