This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, accrual, and annual financial planning processes for the Legal organization.
• Create and present financial reports, dashboards, and analytics related to legal expenditures and operational performance.
• Collaborate with Legal leadership and enterprise stakeholders to conduct financial analysis and provide strategic recommendations.
• Track financial performance, discern trends, and assist in resource planning and allocation decisions.
• Establish and uphold financial governance processes for Legal financial information.
• Utilize Enterprise Legal Management (ELM) and e-billing technologies for effective reporting, analytics, and operational decision-making.
• Promote continuous improvement efforts to simplify, standardize, and enhance financial and operational processes.
• Assist with strategic Legal Operations initiatives and special projects.
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Legal Operations, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in Legal Operations, financial planning and analysis, business operations, financial operations, accounting, or a related area.
• Strongly desired experience in supporting Legal Operations, managing legal spending, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analytics.
• Considerable experience in business operations or financial operations within a complex enterprise setting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Capability to influence stakeholders and translate intricate data into actionable business insights.
• Experience working collaboratively across various functions and leadership levels.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Legal Management (ELM) and e-billing technologies.
• Experience with platforms such as TeamConnect, Collaborati, CounselLink, Legal Tracker, or similar tools.
• An MBA, CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional certification is advantageous.
• For remote work, a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with a minimum of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload is required.
