This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, accrual, and annual financial planning activities of the Legal organization.
• Create and present financial reports, dashboards, and analytics focusing on legal expenditures and operational performance.
• Collaborate with Legal leadership and enterprise stakeholders to deliver financial analysis and strategic recommendations.
• Track financial performance, recognize trends, and assist in resource planning and allocation decisions.
• Set up and uphold financial governance processes to ensure accurate, consistent, and transparent financial data for Legal.
• Utilize Enterprise Legal Management and e-billing technologies for reporting, analytics, and operational decision-making.
• Initiate continuous improvement projects aimed at simplifying, standardizing, and enhancing financial and operational processes.
• Assist with strategic Legal Operations initiatives and special projects.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Legal Operations, or a related field.
• Over 8 years of experience in Legal Operations, financial planning and analysis, business operations, financial operations, accounting, or a related field.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in supporting Legal Operations, legal spend management, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analytics.
• Consideration will also be given to candidates with substantial business operations or financial operations experience in a complex enterprise setting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Capability to influence stakeholders and convert complex data into actionable business insights.
• Experience working collaboratively across various functions and levels of leadership.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Legal Management and e-billing technologies, including TeamConnect, Collaborati, CounselLink, Legal Tracker, or similar platforms.
• An MBA, CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional certification is advantageous.
• This position is available to both remote and office-based candidates throughout the U.S.
• A home internet connection via cable broadband or fiber optic service with minimum speeds of 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload is required.
