Principal IT Analyst – Business Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as a bridge between IT and various business units at Magellan HealthCare (MHC)

• Collaborate with end users to grasp business interpretations of data

• Collect both technical and business requirements for projects

• Aid in ensuring that technical systems align with the company's data requirements

• Transform requirements into specifications utilizing relevant technologies

• Document different work processes

• Create proof of concepts to illustrate workflows and secure user/stakeholder approval

• Work alongside business stakeholders, developers, and analysts to fulfill business objectives

• Ensure the maintenance of data quality and identify any errors in data integration

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Technical Business Analyst

• Proficiency in the MS Office suite, particularly Excel

• Intermediate understanding of relational databases is required

• Familiarity with SQL is preferred

• Experience in creating or drafting high-level technical design documents (not in-depth)

• Knowledge of healthcare terminology is preferred, but not mandatory

• Strong critical thinking, analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities are essential

• Experience with Agile methodologies, scrum, and story creation is preferred

• Familiarity with Jira, Visio, or Lucidchart is an advantage
