This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish the long-term strategy for HRIS, converting business goals into a definitive roadmap for Workday and associated people systems.
• Oversee cross-functional initiatives involving People, Finance, Talent Acquisition, IT, and other stakeholders from the discovery phase to design, implementation, adoption, and continuous enhancement.
• Design scalable integrations within the people technology ecosystem to enhance reliability, minimize manual processes, and improve system connectivity.
• Manage intricate Workday configurations across Human Capital Management, compensation, benefits, talent, performance, security, and related domains.
• Take ownership of the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) information technology general controls (ITGC) for People systems, developing controls that facilitate compliance and efficient operations.
• Lead design discussions with senior stakeholders and executives, converting vague requirements into clear options, trade-offs, and actionable implementation plans.
• Create reporting, dashboards, and data-informed frameworks that assist leaders in interpreting trends and evaluating options.
• Advocate for the practical application of automation and AI within people technology workflows to enhance delivery, problem-solving, and team productivity.
• Profound expertise in Workday across essential people modules such as Human Capital Management, compensation, benefits, time tracking, talent, performance, and security.
• Proven experience in coordinating comprehensive people technology programs that involve multiple business functions and necessitate collaboration across diverse stakeholders.
• In-depth knowledge of Workday integration design, including Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) and cross-system integration patterns that support scalability and resilience.
• Experience in a public company setting with a solid understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) information technology general controls (ITGC) and compliant system practices.
• Capability to collaborate with senior leaders and executives, facilitate design sessions, and clearly communicate system recommendations, trade-offs, and their impacts.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity, recognizing future needs, and establishing structures that enable effective team execution.
• Enthusiasm for leveraging AI and automation to enhance workflows, expedite problem-solving, and broaden the operational scope of people technology teams.
• Experience employing structured problem-solving techniques to ask clarifying questions, assess trade-offs, and leverage transferable skills from consulting, in-house systems work, or both.
