Principal Hardware Design Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Utilize creativity and independence to enhance project design scope and deliverables.

• Create Functional Design Specifications.

• Design circuits including Digital, Analog, and Power.

• Experience with PCIe, DDR, Microprocessor, DSP, etc.

• Proficient in I2C, SPI, PCIe, DDR3+, Ethernet, USB, CSI, DSI, etc.

• Background in Analog/RF is advantageous.

• Experience with BLE and/or WiFi is a plus.

• Conduct Schematic Capture and provide Layout Review/Guidance/Management.

• Perform Pre&Post Signal and Power Integrity analysis (optional).

• Design FPGA and CPLD using Verilog or VHDL.

• Develop FPGA test benches and conduct verification using ModelSim, Xilinx, Altera, etc.

• Create test plans/methodologies to ensure product reliability and meet performance targets.

• Manage prototype bring up and system integration.

• Possess working knowledge of EMC/CE/UL compliance standards.

• Engage in Software and Firmware development.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of relevant experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is mandatory.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Proficient in one or more of the following tools: Siemens DxDesigner (preferred), Altium, and Xpedition-DxDesigner.

• Capable of applying formal project management and system engineering methodologies to develop complex, high-performance electronic systems.

• Experience in the aerospace/defense sector is a plus.
