Principal Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Enhance the efficiency of how the Steer CRM collects and processes data to optimize automation tools.

• Spearhead the creation of reusable full-stack components and services.

• Ensure the platform's performance and scalability meet industry standards.

• Adjust development focus between new integrations and foundational infrastructure.

• Collaborate with the Product team to identify user challenges and provide value to auto repair shops.

• Advocate for security, test automation, and best practices in maintainability.

• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure high-quality outputs.

• Influence the adoption of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code practices.

• Design and sustain AI-integrated, agentic-ready infrastructure for autonomous workflows.

• Guide products from concept to launch within dynamic, high-velocity teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in developing complex, web-based SaaS products.

• Practical experience with LLMs and prompt engineering.

• Demonstrated success in deploying AI-powered features and autonomous (agentic) workflows within production-grade infrastructure.

• Hands-on experience in integrating AI tools into CI/CD pipelines, including automated code review agents, AI-assisted testing, or agentic workflow orchestration.

• Expertise in relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.

• Proficiency in NoSQL databases, including MongoDB and Redis.

• Experience in schema design and query optimization.

• Capability to translate intricate technical concepts into product outcomes while collaborating effectively with leadership.

• Familiarity with .NET, Node.js (TypeScript), and React.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code practices, including Terraform and CloudFormation.

• Previous role as a founding engineer or in an early-stage startup environment.

• Experience in developing or integrating with Claude marketplace plugins, including prompt chaining, tool use, or MCP integrations.
