
Principal Financial Analyst, Revenue Forecasting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Take ownership of the complete revenue forecasting process covering new business, renewals, and expansion.
• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting cycles.
• Create and maintain revenue models segmented by product line, geography, and segment utilizing pipeline data, historical trends, and seasonal variations.
• Collaborate with Sales and Revenue Operations to evaluate pipeline health, deal timing, and assumptions on conversion.
• Analyze forecasting accuracy, pinpoint variance drivers, and enhance forecasting methodologies.
• Develop and sustain reporting packages and dashboards for FP&A and executive leadership.
• Lead monthly and quarterly reviews of revenue forecasts with FP&A and GTM leadership.
• Present forecasts, key drivers, and risk considerations.
• Assist in the annual operating plan and long-term planning through revenue scenario modeling.
• Work alongside Accounting on revenue recognition inquiries and forecast-to-actual reconciliations.
• Provide support for ad hoc analysis and scenario planning related to product launches, pricing adjustments, and market changes.
• Assist with Management & Lender Reporting and MD&A requirements.
• Offer additional reporting assistance as needed.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 6–9 years of experience in FP&A, revenue analysis, or financial forecasting, preferably within a B2B SaaS or technology sector.
• Proficiency in Excel and advanced financial modeling capabilities.
• Significant experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Familiarity with financial planning systems such as OneStream, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, or Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Experience with CRM/GTM systems like Salesforce or Clari.
• Strong grasp of SaaS revenue metrics, including ARR, churn, and bookings-to-revenue conversions.
• Capability to work independently and serve as a trusted advisor to senior, non-financial stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, including experience delivering presentations to VP/SVP-level leadership.
• Strong analytical skills, sound business judgment, and comfort in navigating uncertainty.
• Proven track record of driving process enhancements and standardization within the finance function.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the US.
