Principal Enterprise-Wide Apps Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a point of contact for customers concerning modifications, enhancement requests, maintenance, communications, and strategic initiatives related to Accounts Payable and Procure to Pay within SAP S/4 environments, OpenText, and VIM/Business Center Workplace.

• Assist with project activities including planning, test development, execution, security design, documentation, change management, and implementation/go-live tasks.

• Define, implement, and enhance automated systems and processes.

• Provide support for special projects.

• Collaborate with business process experts and SAP S/4 team analysts on cross-functional initiatives.

• Offer systems support for month-end accruals, audit responses, and interface integrations.

• Provide after-hours maintenance and upgrades for critical systems and offer on-call assistance as required.

• Assist in resolving OCR aborts and troubleshoot associated issues.

• Address technical challenges of increasing complexity within Procure to Pay systems.

• Monitor metrics and identify, propose, and implement process enhancements.

• Work alongside technical administrators to ensure system performance and maintain processes.

• Investigate and resolve authorization issues with the SAP S/4 security team while recommending optimal security configurations.

• Prepare application specifications, gather requirements, suggest solutions, and oversee testing, implementation, and ongoing operations.

• Facilitate meetings, promote communication and strategic direction, and support resource planning and team coordination.

• Provide knowledge transfer and lead collaboration efforts with business process experts.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 3 years with a Master’s degree, or 1 year with a PhD.

• Experience in participating in SAP S/4 lifecycle implementations and/or production support.

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite, including Microsoft Excel, Access, OneNote, and Visio.

• Exceptional organizational, critical thinking, written, and oral communication skills.

• Strong expertise in SAP S/4 Accounts Payable, including configuration, Fiori, data extraction/validation, and integration touch points across AP, Cash Management, Tax, GL, AR, POs, Materials Management, and SD.

• In-depth understanding of API processes and FAR/GAAP/CAS/SOX requirements.

• Experience with analyzing, configuring, testing, and implementing enterprise systems, including SAP, OpenText Enterprise Scan/OCR/VIM, ADR, Fiori, and Redwood.

• Experience troubleshooting within a large SAP-centric ERP architecture.

• Demonstrated project management and SAFe experience.

• Ability to manage and coordinate system configurations, automated processes, and technical activities comprehensively.

• Skill in preparing application specifications, gathering requirements, recommending solutions, and overseeing testing, implementation, and ongoing operations.

• Capability to act as a liaison between technical teams and business/sector customers.

• Ability to facilitate meetings, promote communication and strategic direction, and support resource planning and team coordination.

• Ability to provide knowledge transfer and collaborate with SAP security on authorization issues.

• Capacity to independently manage workload and lead collaboration with business process experts.

• Excellent verbal and technical written communication, along with strong relationship-building skills.

• U.S. citizenship may be necessary for government clearance and certain restricted roles.
